Wantagh Middle School students enrolled in Nancy O’Connor’s eighth grade e-business class learned about being an entrepreneur during a visit by Kate Gilman, founder and owner of florist Petal by Pedal. Ms. Gilman spoke with the students on owning a business and what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur.

Ms. Gilman also brought the students holiday wreaths to decorate.

The students donated the 15 wreaths to Parkview Care and Rehab Center in Massapequa for the holiday season.
